Meet Dr. Carey Peerman
Carey Peerman, Ph.D. began her career as a nurse in a critical care unit, transitioned to an assisted living administrator and then a nursing home administrator. Dr. Peerman is presently an Assistant Professor for the Healthcare Administration program at Radford University. She is a Fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives, a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, and a Registered Nurse. She also serves as a Healthcare Consultant and is owner of Clear Edge Consulting, LLC. Dr. Peerman’s research interests focus on long term care and leadership development. She is author of Authentic Leadership: Your Journey to a Five-Star Career. She is presently working on several publications and another book.
